Ottawa Wedding + Newborn Photographers who know what's it like to be awkward in front of the camera
Well, here we are again Ontario — lockdown. Which means our Newborn & Family Studio is once again shutdown and there will be another group of newborns who can’t get a session in the regular newborn timeframe. But fear not parents, because you can definitely still get newborn photos outside of those first couple weeks and they will still be super adorable!

I honestly don’t even know where to start with this one folks. Baby Alice was a dream to work with. She was passed out when she arrived and pretty much stayed that way the whole time she was here, even when I dragged her session out for almost an extra hour (because it’s hard to stop when the baby is being so amazing)! But more importantly than any of that, this session was extra special because it was for dear friends of ours who we have known for sooo long now!
Where do I even start with this session?! It was lovely for so many reasons, but I think the most obvious one is this adorable little guy!! Little Jax was such a rock star in front of the camera, but that really shouldn’t be a surprise to me at all as his parents were equally amazing during both their engagement session and wedding photos!
I make a little game plan before each newborn arrives in the studio (it consists of jot-notes on a post-it which gets stuck to my studio cart). It contains both a best case and worst case scenario. Little Jack, with all his cuteness and sleepiness, definitely fell into the first category!!
