Where do I even start with this session?! It was lovely for so many reasons, but I think the most obvious one is this adorable little guy!! Little Jax was such a rock star in front of the camera, but that really shouldn’t be a surprise to me at all as his parents were equally amazing during both their engagement session and wedding photos!
I mentioned in my previous newborn blog post that I make a little best case and worst case plan for my newborn studio sessions. Just a few ideas for poses, but mostly for the flow of the session so I am not adjusting the little one too much (some poses just flow together better than other and have a better chance of keeping the baby sleepy). And just like Little Jack who was photographed just a couple days earlier, Jax definitely followed the best case scenario plan!
He needed a little extra time at the beginning of his session to get sleepy again, but that was bound to happen considering the longer than usual road trip he had to get to the studio (huge thanks to Lindsay + Shawn for making the trip out to let me meet him!). But once he fell asleep he was an absolute rock star both on the bean bag and in his little props. He even let us put multiple hats and outfits on him. And when it comes right down to it, I don’t think anyone can resist a little baby fox, especially when it’s your Momma’s maiden name!
This last shot is extra special because those are his parents’ toys around him! I absolutely loved that Lindsay + Shawn thought of this one and brought along some of their childhood toys to include in Jax’s session!!
