Ottawa Wedding + Newborn Photographers who know what's it like to be awkward in front of the camera
Last year I posted our very first Behind the Scenes (BTS) post and it was apparently really popular with all of you. I was super nervous and pretty apprehensive about posting it as I am a pretty self-conscious person but I did it and I am doing it again this year!!
WARNING, this also happens to be our longest post of each year, so prepare yourself for a lot of photos and tidbits of info!
I’ve decided to toss a new end-of-the-year post into the mix – my absolute favourite ring photos from the past year!
Ring photos are my absolute favourite thing to do at weddings and engagement sessions as I feel like I just get to play. Creating new images that mesh into the photos of the day is something I take a lot of pride in being able to do well and something my clients have come to know and expect as part of their photos.
When 2018 started I was really worried that I wouldn’t be able to hit my goal numbers for weddings and sessions. But really I just had to have faith that things would work out (provided I put in the work of course), because in the end, this year was absolutely amazing!
My end-of-the-year blog posts have grown in number over the years, but it is my annual Thank You post that really puts things in perspective for me. I have such an incredible job in which I get to be a part of some really special moments. Our clients invite me into their wedding days, their homes and their families to do my work and when I sit down to write out this post I really am so humbled by the amazing experiences I get to be a part of each year.
