When 2018 started I was really worried that I wouldn’t be able to hit my goal numbers for weddings and sessions. But really I just had to have faith that things would work out (provided I put in the work of course), because in the end, this year was absolutely amazing!
So with that said, let’s take a look at the most trafficked posts we published over the last year according to you, our readers.
But before we get into the countdown, I just wanted to once again thank you all for your continued support this past year. I owe so much of our success to our clients and loyal followers. Thank you all again for letting us be part of your wedding days and capture all the special moments of your lives (cheesy I know, sorry). We truly wouldn’t be able to do this thing that we love so much without all of you.

5. Christine + John
For so many years I have been waiting for Joey’s speech from Monica + Chandler’s day (well the one that almost made it to the actual wedding), and it was Christine + John’s wedding day that brought it! But beyond having a great speech as part of their day, it was beautiful, touching and filled with so many great people.
4. Ellen + Mike’s Engagement Session
2018 was definitely the year of the engagement session for us as we had a record number! And I am really happy to see this one made the Top Posts list as it was a truly gorgeous session!! Ellen + Mike were an absolute dream to work with and the light was a photographer’s dream!
3. Rowan + Andrew’s Engagement Session
I don’t know if it gets much better than the Arboretum in the Fall – at least, not when you have two great people to work with like Rowan + Andrew! I had such a great time strolling through the area with them and it was all the sweeter by another session filled with absolutely fantastic light!
2. Lindsay + Shawn
There is always one super popular date every year – and August 18 was definitely it for 2018, and honestly, I think we had the very best couple out of all the August 18 couples! Lindsay + Shawn’s day was not only gorgeous, but it was so much fun! I absolutely adore these two and love that their day made it so far up on this list!
1. Christy + Deep
Seeing Christy + Deep’s wedding day on the makes me so happy! These two are honestly some of the nicest, sweetest, funniest people out there and their wedding day was so amazing for so many reasons, including the fact that it was our very first Hindu wedding celebration. Dave and I enjoyed every minute of Christy + Deep’s wedding day and loved getting to be a part of new (to us) traditions and wedding day celebrations.
Runner-Up: Devin + Brad
I like to give a special shout-out each year to our runner-up post, and this year the runner-up was sooo close to making it on the list itself. Dave and I came home from Devin + Brad’s wedding day with the most photos we have ever taken at a wedding and honestly it was because everything about this day was stunning! The weather was perfect, the setting was gorgeous and I don’t think there is any way that this day couldn’t have been filled with better people!
Well, there you have it – our top posts of 2018! When 2018 started I knew we had some great sessions in the works and I am so happy to be able to share them all here with you. Our 2019 season starts super soon and I honestly am so excited as there is some pretty cool stuff coming up!!
