So I have come to the realization that I talk about the weather a lot on my blog. Perhaps that is because my business often has me making small talk for the first bit of my sessions, or because it is the easiest thing to chat about when you are meeting someone for the first time and those facts mean the topic naturally makes its way onto my blog. Or perhaps it is because I get pretty lucky with weather most of the time (*knock on wood*).
As I was driving down to Brockville for Lisa + Joe’s engagement session, it just seemed to be getting so dark (I later realized I had my sunglasses on so it actually wasn’t as dark as I thought). Then, it became abundantly clear that the rain wasn’t going to stay away for long. Luckily though, we got our session in before it really started to rain.
Lisa + Joe are planning a winter wedding so they wanted to get their engagement session done when it was still warm outside. And the location ended up being an easy decision (and perfect fit) when Joe’s sister moved into an older home nearby with these fabulous barns!!
I had a great time with these two and can’t wait to share more of their images!
What a beautiful couple!! and that ring is GOREGOUS! 🙂
so glad you were able to beat out the rain because these photos are so worth it!! love the sneak peek!
