There are some really special moments in a young couple’s life and I am so incredibly lucky as a wedding and portrait photographer to be able to capture so many of them! From proposal to engagement and of course their wedding day, we get to be a part of so many important and memorable occasions. But I don’t know if there is anything that could be more precious than when that couple starts growing their family.
Over the last couple years I have gotten to be a part of two great moments in Alyssa + David’s journey together: their terrific engagement session to their absolutely stunning wedding day. Both days were so much fun and it really was a joy to be able to capture all the big and little moments of them both. So when Alyssa emailed me with their wonderful news a little while back and asked me to help them grab some photos to announce to the world the future arrival of their little one, I was absolutely ecstatic!
During one of those teases of Spring Mother Nature threw at us, we ventured out to Mer Bleue and a really nice, relaxing afternoon in the forest complete with the most adorable details (although really this should be no surprise at all to anyone who knows Alyssa). And of course their fur-baby, Tyson, joined us and despite being rather distracted, he did a super job with his part of the photos.
I absolutely loved getting to be around for another milestone moment for this little family, and I can’t wait to work with them again in the future. But honestly, I am even more excited to meet the little person these two create because I just know that is going to be one incredible human being!
