Technically we had already postponed this session by the time I headed out of the house towards Mariah + Ben for their lifestyle newborn and family shoot. The weather was supposed to be quite bad complete with not only rain, but thunderstorms, and because of that we had decided to move the session to the following week. But about 2 hours before I was supposed to leave, the sky was still absolutely lovely and the forecast changed entirely – well, it changed for the 1-2 hours the actual shooting would take place and that was good enough for everyone involved! To be honest, I was a little anxious about Karrington + Adam’s engagement session. Don’t get me wrong, I was super excited to get to hang out with them again and even more pumped to meet their puppers, Honey. I was a touch anxious because it had been sooooo very long since I had done a couple session. In fact, I had only just started being allowed to photograph any sort of session.
Everybody, this is Ruby, and she may just be one of the cutest subjects I have ever had in front of my camera! And this newborn puppy session was so much fun not only because I got puppy snuggles and we got to run and play with Ruby and her older doggo friends, but also because we got to do it all for such a wonderful family!
