Even after photographing the session, editing the photos and now writing the blog post I am still having a hard time believing that I got to work with twins so early on in my studio newborn career. And I am in even more disbelief of how well the session went. But what I have absolutely no questions about whatsoever is how insanely adorable these identical twin girls are! Zoey and Skye were such troopers during their session, and I am so grateful to have been able to capture these precious photos of them for their amazing parents.
Now I truly believe that pretty much all parents are amazing. I mean think about it, not only did they create these little people (in one form or another as there are so many ways to have a family these days), but they are committing to raising and loving them for all of their days. And for Sandy + Tyler they not only have these brand new twin girls, but two more girls at home that they get to love each and every day. And on top of all that, they are such truly lovely people! I also completely understand how they fell asleep for a bit during Zoey + Skye’s newborn session. I mean with 4 girls to raise, I would take advantage of a warm, quiet studio for a power nap too!
Zoey + Skye ended up having a two-day session as Zoey, despite having a little cold, was a rockstar for her individual photos and they were both fantastic during their photos together, but Skye was a little done before we got a chance to get all of her individual photos captured. And since the girls had an appointment with the doctor they had to get to, they ended up coming back the next day. I personally loved this so much as it meant I got to spend two mornings with these two little angels and it also meant I got to sneak in a few extra poses and photos!!
