I’m throwing it way back with this blog post as Mariam and Ramy’s maternity session was photographed all the way back in 2021. It is one of the few blog posts that I have in my backlog that aren’t there because of our own pregnancy (and then the craziness that happens in those first couple years). Mariam and Ramy had asked that I not post their maternity photos until after their little one had arrived, but since I have photographed his newborn and first year photos and he is even bigger than that now, I think I could knock this one off my ‘to blog’ list safely now.

Outdoor + In-Home Lifestyle Maternity Session: Bridget + Matt

The end of March is not a very pretty time of the year when it comes to the great outdoors. The ground is pretty muddy, the skies are often dull and gray, and the trees are basically empty. And for a lot of sessions I typically give people the option of waiting until the weather is a little nicer, but when it comes to time sensitive things, like maternity sessions, there really isn’t any waiting because once that little one decides to make their entrance a maternity session isn’t really an option anymore, haha!

But luckily Bridget + Matt were completely on board for their late March session and we were able to mix in some outdoor and in-home photos to give some more range to their photos.

How is it already the end of February!?! I mean, I feel like the new year just started and yet somehow we are already two months in — it’s crazy.
I mention this because I am oh so very behind on blog posts it’s not even funny. Luckily though, sessions have been going out on time so Isha and her wonderful family have had their photos for a while now. But I am finally getting around to sharing them with all of you, lucky ducks!

Ottawa Winter Maternity Session at Experimental Greenhouses: Samantha + Connor

I think every single citizen of Ottawa and the area knows just how cold it can be here. And despite the few super random warmer days Mother Nature has thrown at us this winter season, that cold weather has definitely put a damper on outdoor activities — well at least for me it has. But I was more than happy to venture out into the cold to capture this beautiful maternity session for Samantha + Connor!
