A couple years ago Dave and I were a part of way too many wedding shows. Seriously, it was utterly exhausting and for the last couple shows we were in, we weren’t able to take full advantage of them because we were pretty booked up already. But, it was actually at a few of these wedding shows that we met Karine + Doug, so perhaps it was a very good thing that we attended so many because I am just oh so happy we got to work with these two wonderful souls and capture their wedding day for them!!

I have been excited for this wedding day pretty much since the moment we first met these two, but my excitement definitely grew tenfold after their freaking awesome
I first met Alyssa + David in a coffee shop halfway between our two homes. We chatted for a good long while about their plans. When they mentioned that they wanted to do their engagement session at a restaurant, I felt it was oh so fitting to keep with the cute indoor settings.
Alyssa + David had planned for a primarily indoor engagement session from the get-go, so when the weather called for a boatload of rain on the day of their session (in February), we all figured it didn’t really impact the plans too much. It’s funny how things work out in the end really, as for most of our couples, that much rain on their session date would end up in having to rescheduling the whole thing to another (hopefully) drier day.
