We’ve had the fortune of working with Stephanie (half of the genius ladies over at Opportunity Knocks Events) at several shoots, shows, weddings and events. She was even our entry into the world of Make-A-Wish, for which we couldn’t be more grateful. We always have so much fun working with her, her husband and her teams in general. So much so that when she asked us to do a family shoot, we were absolutely thrilled!

I love the Ottawa Tulip Festival – this is not new information. In fact, when I was chatting with my parents after my first visit to the festival this year, I mentioned that we had gone and their response was of course.
The Tulip Festival isn’t until May (May 9 through 19 to be precise), but I couldn’t wait to share some photos of beautiful tulips because underneath all that snow, there are some gorgeous flowers growing.
I spent another weekend out at the Tulip Festival here in Ottawa, specifically down at Dows Lake and Commissioner’s Park. That being said, these photos are from the Arboretum next to Dows Lake as I am super excited about an upcoming shoot I have at the Arboretum. I am really looking forward to it and can’t wait to share the details with you all!
This weekend marks the beginning of the tulip festival – and as I am sure you are already aware, it is my favourite festival in Ottawa! I have my weekends roughly planned to try and see as many of the different locations as possible. The tulips are only around for about a month, and I want to see them all!
These shots are from the Dows Lake/Commissioner’s Park location, which happens to be my favourite location. I went this morning and walked around. Most of the flowers are still just buds, but a few were out and the rest will be soon enough.
