Where do I even start with Baby Roy’s amazing newborn session?! I mean, he was just so utterly adorable and his good looks were clearly from the amazing genes his parents passed down to him. But more than that, he was just so precious and wonderful to spend a few hours with. Baby Roy also let me test out a few new prototypes and designs from our Prop Shoppe, which is always an extra special treat for me.

Little Baby Jonathan got a bunch of brand new outfits just for his session. In fact, I was finishing up multiple items late into the evening before his shoot. But the late night and extra sewing was oh so very worth it as this teeny dude was so darn cute and such a trooper during his session!

When it comes to babies some into the studio super sleepy and completely ready for their session, and others need a little extra time to get a snack (or occasionally have full meal), some cuddles and/or a little bit of awake time before they are set for their time in front of the camera. But lucky for me, Darling Baby Valerie fell into that first category and was ready for her session the moment she arrived!

I know I have said this before, but it really is just the most special thing for me to be able to capture the teeny babies of our previous wedding couples. Not only do I love snuggling the next generation, but I love getting to catch up with our couples as they start a new chapter of their lives together. All of this to say that Baby Wesley’s session was extra special as I got to catch up and hang out with his amazingly fun parents Sarah + Kelvin!

The most recent lockdown was extra hard for me (as I am sure it was for most people). I hated being closed again and for so long, and I really hated watching online as so many SBFamilies had their new babies and weren’t able to bring them in for their session.
Luckily though, I have become pretty good at working with much ‘older’ babies over the last year and a half, so when Baby Maggie was finally able to come in for her newborn photos, we were still able to get some truly adorable images!
