I know I have said this before, but it really is just the most special thing for me to be able to capture the teeny babies of our previous wedding couples. Not only do I love snuggling the next generation, but I love getting to catch up with our couples as they start a new chapter of their lives together. All of this to say that Baby Wesley’s session was extra special as I got to catch up and hang out with his amazingly fun parents Sarah + Kelvin!
It’s been two years since Sarah + Kelvin’s wedding day. They have rocked every session we have done together so far, and this newborn session was no different as they truly were rock stars in front of the camera! And even better than that, they seem to have passed those photogenic genes along to their little baby boy as he too was so wonderful in front of the lens.
Of course he had his moments where he fought sleep and needed a little milk break, but that’s pretty much how all newborn session go, and I was incredibly happy with how well he tolerated the outfit changes and position tweaks throughout the shoot. He even let me put two of the new outfits from Beach Baby Prop Shoppe on him, so that was pretty freaking fantastic!
But honestly, my favourite images from Wesley’s session have to be the ones with no outfit at all. I just love how the simpler setups show off the natural cuteness of these teeny tiny humans. I am in complete awe of babies, which is probably why I love my job oh so very much!
