Temple’s Sugar Bush Wedding: Samantha + David

It has such a great atmosphere and some of the very best people in the industry working there. And the surrounding land is absolutely gorgeous – a complete haven for nature lovers like myself.

Put all of that wonderfulness into my favourite season and the possibilities are absolutely endless!!

This was the case for Sam + Dave’s wedding day. The colours were a beautiful combination of Spring greens mixed with Fall yellows and oranges and the sky was gorgeous too! There were a few leaves on the ground, but most of them stayed right up there in the trees where we could photograph them the best. And though some would say the day was chilly, I found it to be pretty much the perfect temperature for a nice, fluffy scarf and comfy sweater.

Combine this perfect (for me) weather and stunning venue with an amazing couple, their fantastic friends and family and one of the cutest little flower girls and you definitely have a memorable, wonderful wedding day.

But as I mentioned in their sneak peek, nothing about this day could top the amazing couple themselves. Sam + Dave have been one of our more quiet couples from the get go, okay, Dave has been quieter than most, because once you get to know Sam’s sense of humour you get all sorts of response (which I absolutely loved!!). But despite their perceived shyness (or perhaps because of it), they are such so sweet and caring. Truly two of the nicest people we have had the pleasure of working with. This wedding day was one of our absolute favourites and capturing their wedding day was one of the best ways I could think to spend a Thanksgiving weekend.

(And of course, getting to be my normal sarcasm-filled self was pretty great too)
