Sometimes wedding days feel like they last forever and other times they fly by so quickly. Neither is necessarily good or bad, but when you get to work with a couple as amazing as Mandi + Marc, you definitely aren’t hoping for the latter.
But their coverage did eventually come to an end, and I really wasn’t ready to leave just yet as we were having such a good time with these two and their fantastic family and friends. Every was so kind, thoughtful and pretty hilarious, which always makes our days more enjoyable, but it was the love that made the day so wonderful. Getting to see the love their families shared and to listen to all the amazingly sweet things everyone had to say about the couple was truly a pleasure. And of course, catching all the loving glances between the couples themselves was a delight!
As I was editing their wedding day I found myself with a giant smile across own face pretty much the whole time as I kept running across photos of these two amazing humans beings that were such so sweet. Completely candid moments where they were making each other smile, or shots from the portraits where I just couldn’t stop snapping away because of the looks on their faces and the connection between the two of them. I am sure I have said this before about Mandi + Marc, but they definitely know how to make my job easy!!
Getting to start this double-header weekend at one of our favourite venues, Temple’s Sugar Bush, also made our job a whole lot easier. Not only are the grounds gorgeous, but the staff are just so wonderful. Always looking for ways to go above and beyond, not only for the couple and their guests but also for the other vendors who are part of the day.
Mandi + Marc chose to have a first look before their ceremony and from that very first moment right up until we headed out for the evening (and the turned back to get one last shot that I had wanted to grab for them), we had an absolute blast! I am so happy and thankful that they chose us to capture their wedding day.
Thank you to all of the talented vendors (and DIY skills) who helped make this day so lovely:
