“Live for the moments you can’t put into words”
These words sit in a frame on Marie-France + Jonathan’s wall. It may sound cliche to some, but they really resonated with me and I couldn’t help but think of the meaning behind the words throughout the entire shoot.
This truly wonderful couple have celebrated so many major events in the last couple of years and we have been so lucky to have been able to capture them. The most recent milestone of course being the birth of their first child, Mackenzie.
We had a super fun time during their engagement session, a blast during their wedding day, and despite a few falls on my part, I had a great time during their winter maternity session. But I think my favourite session to date with these guys was their recent newborn session. Little Mackenzie was just the absolute sweetest in her tiny outfits. And despite the fact that she had not one, not two, not even three, but four outfit changes throughout her session, she was so completely content during the entire shoot! She did however require a few snack breaks, but who am I to tell a three week old what to do and when to do it?!
This little sweetheart even managed to stay wide awake for the vast majority of the session, meaning we got to see those gorgeous blue eyes. Although she did eventually pass out near the end which made it even harder for me to leave as she was just so precious looking.
I am so excited and happy for Marie-France + Jonathan. I already know they are going to be great parents as little Mackenzie grows up, filling her life with so much love. Thank you to you both for letting me continue to capture your precious moments.
