Killaloe Winter Engagement Session: Patricia + Mike, Sneak Peek

Ottawa-Valley-Winter-Engagement-Session-Stephanie-Beach-PhotographySo as all of your friends and family have probably notified you through social media, it’s snowing again – and not just a little either. Despite the fact that the snow was almost gone from most yards and the temperature was quite delightful outside recently, the chilly wind and snow are back.

But I’m not complaining because the fresh snow made for an absolutely gorgeous backdrop for Patricia + Mike’s winter engagement session, which was made all the better by the fact that these two were an absolute delight to spend an afternoon with!

As we drove out to Killaloe for their session, I spent the entire time evaluating the trees (well the entire time I was awake as car rides longer than 20 minutes tend to make me very sleepy). Not for buds obviously, but for snow. I just really wanted the trees to be filled with snow as it is simply a beautiful background for photos. And thankfully that is exactly what we got around the entire property! Beautiful snowy trees and fresh, white snow on the ground!! It was a little chilly at times, as I am really good at finding any wind tunnels that may exist in the area, but not that bad really – and far better than the temperatures we were dealing with a couple months ago!!

But really, the weather had nothing on these two! Patricia + Mike really are two of the nicest, most genuine people out there and it was oh so wonderful to get to spend the afternoon with them out in the bush. I had a blast tromping through the snow, and being chauffeured around the property (more on that later), and as an added bonus, this was yet another winter session in which I did not fall!!
