When I first sat down to write this blog post, I thought I might have a hard time figuring out what to write about. I have worked with this amazing family so many times now, I thought I must have said all there is to say! But luckily, they are so awesome that each and every time I get to hang out with them I learn a bit more about them. And better than that, I get to see their girls’ personalities develop and shine and it really is so truly awesome to witness!
For example, I first met Evalyn when she was just a tiny babe and throughout her session we struggled to get her to open her eyes to show us those gorgeous baby blues. But now she is an energetic little girl who shadowed me with her phone camera taking her own shots throughout the session and telling everyone what to do next. I absolutely loved watching her and incorporating this part of her personality into her sister’s session.
Speaking of little Elizabeth, I don’t know if she could have been cuter! I also don’t know if I have ever gotten to work with a better behaved baby for one of these lifestyle sessions. She only needed the tiniest of food breaks and a couple diaper changes throughout everything and she did it all without fussing. She didn’t even really fuss when her sister was pretty much strangling her (inadvertently of course). And she had the completely opposite reaction to me being around than her sister did as she was wide awake throughout the entire session!
Throw in the always wonderful Naomi + Adam (I seriously love these two people and their relaxed nature) and the super cute puppy, Alice, who wouldn’t leave little Elizabeth’s side (or in this case feet as she was pretty much always lying on the ground in front of everyone) and you have an absolutely lovely family session!
