Mother Nature has been pretty kind to me all year so far, more or less, and this was definitely true during Jennifer + Phil’s wedding day as the forecast started off pretty darn gloomy but we ended up having some really great weather! We were even graced by a couple deer that passed by us during the Bride + Groom portraits.
But in all seriousness, I don’t think even the crummiest of weather could have dampened anyone’s spirits for Jen + Phil’s wedding. Everyone was absolutely ecstatic for these two to make it official and they were completely surrounded by love all day long!
Also, I learned a new trick, or rather a new tip. If you are planning on doing a Polaroid guest book and want to get all of your guests in it, take a page from Jen + Phil’s book as they had such a great approach to this. The couple had asked one of their awesome friends to go around taking a shot of each couple/family using a handy-dandy list provided by the Bride + Groom. She would then let them know to head on over to the guest book and sign by their photo during the night. A couple reminders via the MC and the Bride + Groom walked away with a photo of each of their guests most of which also had a lovely noted with them. So smart as I have seen more than one incomplete Polaroid guest book over the years as some guests just don’t want to use the camera.
These two were such a sweet pair and had planned a day that was such a perfect fit for them and their friends + family. It was a real honour (and so much fun) to be a part of it all!
Thanks to all of these amazing vendors who helped make this wedding possible!
