Lime Kiln Forest is definitely one of my absolute favourites when it comes to the NCC Greenbelt trails. But I have found that it can be very buggy most times of the year. But that is not the case in the late Fall guys, which happens to be the best time to hit it up in my opinion!! I was oh so very happy Tori + Jarred selected this spot for their engagement session as I loved getting to walk through this awesome place with an even more awesome couple, especially since these two absolutely nailed their engagement photos!!
And you know why they did so well? Because they were themselves. I would get them set in the perfect spot, all cuddly and adorable, and then hear Jarred cracking joke and joke making Tori laugh so genuinely from ear to ear. It made for the best photos and also kept me in stiches the whole time too!! If you know me and my humour at all, then you already know how much of a sarcastic smartass I can be, and I truly think Jarred could rival me in the smartass department, haha (a statement I say as a compliment by the way)!
I will say though, I could have done without the wildlife sighting. I mean, it was only a harmless, little garter snake, and he did let me get a little photo of him, which was nice,, but still *shakes head* nope, nope, I definitely do not like snakes. Never have, never will, no thank you.
But back to the topic at hand (sorry for the tangent), Jarred’s insistence on making his fiancée laugh and be at ease throughout the whole session was beyond just making jokes and hilarious comments. Whenever I asked him to nuzzle in and get all cuddly, he would smack his head against Tori’s, not hard enough to hurt (at least it didn’t look that hard), just hard enough to make the entire situation funny and getting Tori to give out a delightful laugh and smile that was nothing short of perfection! I can’t wait to catch more of this one their wedding day as I just know Jarred will be just as determined to ensure everyone has a great time and the whole day is filled with laughter and hilarity!
