So, this summer has definitely proven that if anyone ever invites you up to a remote cabin in the country where you have to drive down a two-way road that is barely big enough for one car, you say yes, because the end result is a gorgeous session in a truly breathtaking scene! And I suppose having Haley + Mark as company wasn’t too bad either 😉

Ottawa Lime Kiln Forest Engagement Session: Tori + Jarred
Lime Kiln Forest is definitely one of my absolute favourites when it comes to the NCC Greenbelt trails. But I have found that it can be very buggy most times of the year. But that is not the case in the late Fall guys, which happens to be the best time to hit it up in my opinion!! I was oh so very happy Tori + Jarred selected this spot for their engagement session as I loved getting to walk through this awesome place with an even more awesome couple, especially since these two absolutely nailed their engagement photos!!

Since leaving my office job and turning my photography business into my sole profession I have prefaced all face-to-face conversations with the fact that I don’t see or talk to many people throughout the workweek. Whether it’s a client consult or a session, the lack of human interaction throughout the day leads me to be a wee bit rambly when I finally meet up with actual people. And of course, that has only gotten amplified since covid came to be. But lucky for me I get to work with some truly delightful, and apparently patient, people because even after all my rambling throughout their session and seemingly never-ending stories as we chatted in the parking lot afterwards, Alexandra + Ryan stuck it out.

2019 Favourites: Engagements
It’s the halfway mark for our end-of-year round-up and today I am sharing my very favourite engagement photos!
I had some pretty awesome couples in front of my camera this year and they rocked their engagement photos! And as an added bonus, I got to shoot in some pretty beautiful locations from nearby woods, streams, and trails to downtown locales and venues, and even spectacular backyards!
