Okay, I’m not going to lie, I was so incredibly nervous leading up to Josie’s newborn session, and honestly, it wasn’t even because of Josie. You see her Big Sister isn’t that big as these wonderfully sweet parents have two little ones under two. Which essentially meant I was going to be doing sibling photos with a very young older sibling, eek! But not only did Big Sister Avery rock her time in front of the camera (oh my goodness guys – she was utter perfection!!), but Baby Josie did wonderfully too!Continue reading “Ottawa Studio Newborn Session: Josie”
You really never know what you’re going to be greeted with when it comes to big siblings. Sometimes they are super keen on being a part of the session and other times they want nothing to do with it. Every once in a while you find yourself somewhere in between (for example, a grumpy toddler who will be in the photos but not be happy about it, haha!), but more often than not, it’s one extreme or another. I am just oh so happy (and lucky) that when it came to Baby Mackenzie’s session, Big Sister Aubrey was the former and was absolutely thrilled that is was photo day!Continue reading “In-Home Lifestyle Newborn Session: Mackenzie”
How is it already the end of February!?! I mean, I feel like the new year just started and yet somehow we are already two months in — it’s crazy.
I mention this because I am oh so very behind on blog posts it’s not even funny. Luckily though, sessions have been going out on time so Isha and her wonderful family have had their photos for a while now. But I am finally getting around to sharing them with all of you, lucky ducks!
I have seen these photos all over the internet many time before. Sweet little RCMP babies in their parent’s hat, looking oh so very adorable, and very Canadian. And of course it was a setup I very much wanted to try, but let’s be honest, it’s a pretty particular situation. I mean, it’s not exactly like you can just do this one for just any family. But then comes the reminder that I live in Ottawa and have actually had a few Mountie weddings in the past. So long story short, when Brittany asked if it was something we could include in Kinsley’s newborn session, I was over the moon!!Continue reading “Ottawa Studio Newborn Session: Kinsley”
So, Mother Nature was kind of uncooperative for a couple weekends in October. Which of course meant we had to reschedule this session because of the rain. I think we were all a little nervous and worried that due to the delays we would miss the great fall colours, but luckily for all of us that definitely didn’t happen as their backyard was still stunning! Seriously, this place looked like it was plucked straight of a magazine! But what was even better than that was this adorable family, particularly sweet Little Archer!Continue reading “Ottawa In-Home Lifestyle Newborn Session: Archer”
