Ottawa Studio Newborn Session: Kinsley

I have seen these photos all over the internet many time before. Sweet little RCMP babies in their parent’s hat, looking oh so very adorable, and very Canadian. And of course it was a setup I very much wanted to try, but let’s be honest, it’s a pretty particular situation. I mean, it’s not exactly like you can just do this one for just any family. But then comes the reminder that I live in Ottawa and have actually had a few Mountie weddings in the past. So long story short, when Brittany asked if it was something we could include in Kinsley’s newborn session, I was over the moon!!

Getting to meet, hold and photograph sweet little baby Cigi (short for Cassandra George in case you were wondering), was honestly such an amazing moment. I love getting to photograph all of our friends’ big milestones, but this one was just so extra special because Chris + Jason are such so extra special in our lives.
