It was day not unlike the day I am writing this post…super sunny with bright blue skies and just a hint of snow left. Jordy + Kevin’s engagement session will be the last one to be called a winter session, until much later this year, and it was definitely a great one to end with!
There are certain spots around the city that I have on my to shoot list. Some of well known parks or city areas that I just haven’t gotten the chance to work in before, while others are little hidden gems that I have come across in one way or another. This spot was one of the latter. A little spot right off the side of the road that I drive down almost everyday. A tiny little area, but full of so much photo potential! And of course the fact that it is right around the corner from other great locations is an added bonus!
I think it was about half way through the session when I finally asked if Jordy + Kevin actually liked planes. I probably should have asked sooner (like perhaps before we selected this location for their shoot) since I kept including them in their shots, but fortunately, they were on the same page as me in terms of how neat it was (and noisy, it was also very noisy).
A huge thanks to these two awesome people for going with my random locations and for bearing the cold winds, and icy paths!
