A lot of brides use their wedding bouquet to help commemorate a loved one who isn’t around anymore, or to cherish a special moment or item. I myself used part of my mom’s wedding veil as the wrap of my bouquet and we have seen many other brides who have used a necklace, photo locket or other such item as part of their bouquet to highlight someone near and dear to them. But Mary’s wedding bouquet has to be one of the sweetest and most thoughtful ones we have photographed yet as it was literally made from notes the bride received from her mom over the years.
Mary’s mom writes her a letter nearly every week and this is a very cherished tradition the two women share. So when it came to making her bouquet, she photocopied some of the letter onto colourful paper and made these stunning flowers herself. It was one of the best paper flower bouquets I have worked with and one that was made from something filled with so much love and meaning – it was absolutely beautiful.
But Mary’s bouquet wasn’t the only well thought out detail in her and Adam’s wedding day. In fact, their day was absolutely filled with them. The intricate, themed place cards, the decor throughout the reception hall, and the Red Pine Camp buttons for each of their guests (and us too!), everything was so well done. But really, what else would you expect when both the bride and one of the bridesmaids are wedding + event planners?!
And let’s talk about this wedding party, because they were so incredibly amazing! Not only were they absolutely hilarious and a blast to be around, but they all cleaned up so well! I mean, those ladies were absolutely stunning and the guys (and of course our lovely groom’s lady), looked so dapper in their coordinated (but not completely matching) custom ties. In fact, the clothing was well thought out more than once during the day as Mary + Adam had made room in their timeline for everyone to do a quick costume change into some warmer clothes so they could all enjoy the camping tradition of s’mores around the campfire. Sitting around the fire as her uncle and his daughters treated everyone to their amazing talents was truly the perfect way to end such an enchanting day.
