Ottawa Wedding + Newborn Photographers who know what's it like to be awkward in front of the camera
It’s the halfway mark for our end-of-year round-up and today I am sharing my very favourite engagement photos!
I had some pretty awesome couples in front of my camera this year and they rocked their engagement photos! And as an added bonus, I got to shoot in some pretty beautiful locations from nearby woods, streams, and trails to downtown locales and venues, and even spectacular backyards!
Winter definitely came early this year, but fortunately for me, Tara + Dion were actually looking forward to a session with a light dusting of snow … although we did end up with a fair bit more than a dusting.

Fall in Ottawa this year was super weird, mostly because it lasted about a week before the cold, cold winter temperatures hit the capitol. And then, basically the day before Jennifer + Steve’s session, the snow came super early too. But although it was super chilly for early November, the cross-over of the season definitely gave a unique and awesome background for their session.

I had so many postponed sessions this Fall thanks to all the rain we got here in Ottawa. Sarah + Jesse’s engagement session was one of those postponed shoots. And even when we did get to the revised session date, it still rained during their session. But it was all good in the end as we got some great shots despite the less than sunny skies.

Some couples we just click with. When we meet I instantly know that I am the photographer for them and they are the couple for me. We could talk endlessly about all the very best (and nerdiest) of things and have a wonderful time doing so. Nadine + Kevin are definitely one of those couples!
