Every time I get together with Naomi + Adam for a session it rains. When we met for their bridal portraits, it rained a lot and we dodged rain clouds the entire time. Just last month when we met for their maternity session, we just barely missed the rain as it poured just as I left the session. And their newborn session for sweet little Evalyn was no different. My drive home was complete with wipers for the rain.
But I think the rain works for them, as every time we have worked together it has been fantastic!
This sweet little girl slept so soundly throughout her session. In fact, at the end when her parents tried to wake her for a photo where you could see her big beautiful blue eyes, she fought hard against it. But that makes sense, as I am told she can be a little stubborn, she did come into this world on her own schedule after all (and in doing so, made the wonderful August 2015 photographs we took during their maternity session completely irrelevant). But it’s okay, because she is just so tiny and adorable and squishy and awesome that she could pretty much do anything and it would still be cute.
Rain on each of their sessions also means that I have talked about rain in each of their blog posts…so I guess that’s a thing too…oops.
How adorable! I just want to snuggle her.
What a little sweetie! The detail photos are the best – capturing the hands, feet, and even the hair. So precious.
Such a sweetheart!
