There are just some weddings that completely take your breath away. It when it does it isn’t because of any one thing but rather a combination of all the wedding day elements. The decor, the dress, the venue, the other vendors, the food, etc. – every little element coming together is what makes a day wonderful, but what makes it breathtaking is the people – and Miranda + Jason surrounded themselves with some of the best people and they themselves were an absolute dream to work with!
And, if I’m being honest, that pretty much wraps up my feelings for this wedding. But since that would make a pretty short, and not very interesting, blog post, I suppose I should go into a bit more details about their day.
Let’s start with that veil!! You guys know how much I love long veils, and since Miranda has been following us for a while now, she knew I was going to be ecstatic when I saw that marvelous, super flowy creation! Although I will note that long veils can be a touch troublesome as it got caught on bridges during both the first look and the processional, and it was one more thing to carry around during portraits, but I still think it was a million times worth the hassle! And when combined with that dress, Miranda looked absolutely flawless!
I also think I need to do a special shout-out for those cupcakes because OMG they were so good! With both a fudgey topping and buttercream icing with two types of drizzle on type – they were soooo worth the calories! In fact, as they were made by the Mother of the Bride and Mother of the Groom, if anyone ever has any extras, you are more than welcome to send them our way!!
There are so many other things I could mention about this day, from the lovely details I got to play with, to the bike during groom prep and the reoccurring Viper sunglasses (honest – my notes from the wedding are quite extensive), but I think I will just say Miranda + Jason are seriously the cutest. Not only did they stare lovingly in each other’s eyes, but they made silly faces, squeezed butts and made all sorts of funny sound effects throughout the day – it was so great getting to capture not only beautiful, romantic photos, but ones where you can see their personalities and humour! There wasn’t a single second of their day where I was not having an absolute blast and I think the same can be said for just about everyone who attended this beautiful day!
Thanks to all of these amazing vendors who helped make this wedding possible!
